- Owners who have been asked to provide statements to a lender or partner
- Businesses tracking results across multiple periods
- Owners who want their statements and tax filings prepared by one office
- Businesses whose records need cleanup before statements can be produced
- Preparation of statements from the accounting records provided
- A balance sheet as of the period end
- An income statement for the period
- Comparison to a prior period where records support it
- Discussion of what the statements show
- Identification of records that must be corrected before statements are produced

Frequently asked questions
Do you perform audits?
Statement preparation from your records is a different service from an audit or a review engagement. Tell us what has been requested of you and we will confirm whether the firm can assist or whether a different type of engagement is required.
What if my books are not current?
Statements can only reflect the records behind them. If the books need work first, we will explain what bookkeeping would be required before statements can be prepared.
Can statements be prepared remotely?
Yes, where the records can be provided through an approved method and the engagement does not require an in-person step.
What does statement preparation cost?
Pricing varies based on the forms involved, number and type of entities, condition of the records, filing history, payroll size, bookkeeping volume, state requirements, and level of assistance requested. A final quote is provided after review.
